Angie (8 out of 10 ) Whoever said this is a piece of crap must not like the author. I'm one of the pickiest readers I know and very little keeps my attention for long. This story did keep my attention because the writing was good. It also kept my attention because the story was interesting, fast paced, believeable in part and somewhat different than the usual. I think (and think this about many scripts) there may be a bit too much action, a few too many coincidences--and I didn't like that the apparent heroine turned out to be a double agent. Maybe the wife and daughter are accidentally killed when the family gets lost in a dangerous location while on vacation in Columbia. Maybe then the father's revenge-adventure shows us Columbian politics in a more subtle way? Maybe the father falls in love with somebody who is really nice? Maybe the protagonist's orginal NYC family were American-Columbians and they were in Columbia visiting relatives? Anyway, there's many cool stories w/in this story and the one written here would probably have mass appeal for Governor Arnold type audiences.
